ResignationDirector of NBU General Department of Monetary Policy resigned
Director of the NBU General Department of Monetary Policy Olena Shcherbakova has resigned, a source told Capital.
As Capital reported, earlier Pechersk District Court ordered the Prosecutor General's Office in Kyiv to open a criminal case against NBU Governor Valeriya Hontareva who is incriminated by Article 364 of the Criminal Code (abuse of power or official position for the purpose of obtaining of unfair preference, official’s usage of power or official position contrary to the interests of service).
The main point of accusations is interventions of NBU in August 2014.
