Five Ukrainian law enforcers died as the insurgents attacked checkpoints in the ATO zone in the east of Ukraine, reported Andriy Lysenko, spokesman of the information center of the National Security and Defense Council.
“Unfortunately Ukrainian law enforcers sustained losses. Five our guys died in the course of these combats,” he said.
As Capital earlier reported, director of Military Medical Department of the Defense Ministry said the Ukrainian army is short of 595 ambulances.
