Six parliament members left the Communist faction in the parliament, informed VR Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov at the parliamentary session on Tuesday. He cited corresponding statements of Volodymyr Kudrya, Oleksandr Zubchevskiy, Vasyl Samoilenko, Oleksandr Holub, Serhiy Honcharov and Oleksandr Prysyazhnyuk.
In respect to the possibility of dissolution of the faction, Turchynov explained that according to the report of the regulation committee ‘there is a minimal position exclusively towards groups of MPs’.
The speaker proposed to introduce changes to the regulations and then objectively deliver the decision on this issue. Turchynov advised the parliament members to “introduce a corresponding draft law instead of shouting”. He expressed his readiness to put it to vote.
