car marketUkrAvto owner predicts decline of the car market by a third in 2014
The volume of the car market in 2014 will decline from 220,000 to 130,000-150,000 cars, said the owner of UkrAvto Corporation Tariel Vasadze in an interview for LIGABusinessInform.
At that, Zaporizhzhya automobile plant planned to produce 26,000 cars this year, of which 30-40% would be vehicle sets for export to Egypt, he said. The businessman also emphasized that if the situation in the countries did not improve, the production at ZAZ could be stopped already in September.
As it was reported, in the end of March the government cancelled the preferences for the carmakers.
