Opening the session of the government, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated that he expected the International Monetary Fund to allocate the second tranche of the stand-by loan in the amount of US $1.5 bn based on the results of the IMF mission, which is currently working in Ukraine.
“Ukraine fulfiled the requirements for obtaining the second tranche, according to our estimates,” he emphasized.
Yatsenyuk informed that he will have a meeting with the IMF mission’s experts to discuss the prospects of cooperation on July 9.
It is expected that the IMF mission will complete its work in Ukraine on July 9.
