hot spotDPR introduces martial law and curfew
Commander of the militants of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Ihor Strelkov announced martial law and introduced curfew in Donetsk.
“To avoid different accidents and preserve lives and health of peaceful residents, the command of the militants is introducing martial law and curfew in Donetsk as a measure for strengthening law enforcement,” reads the order of Strelkov.
According to the order, martial law is introduced in several districts of Donetsk, the borders of which will be determined along the way. Curfew will be effective from 11:00 pm till 6:00 am.
As Capital reported earlier, the self-proclaimed republic already introduced martial law in the area in the end of May in order “to clear the territory of DPR from hostile Ukrainian troops”.
