The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has agreed to allow the local authorities to form tariffs for housing utility service without coordination with the State Inspection for Price Control.
Thus, the cabinet canceled a provision envisaged by the procedure for formation of housing utilities tariffs that required obtaining of the conclusions from the price control inspection on economically expedient planned expenditures.
Prior to this, revision of the housing utilities tariffs by the local authorities was possible only on the basis of the conclusion of the price control inspection on the economic expediency of the expenditures, connected with production, transportation and supply of heating, central water supply and draining services, maintenance of buildings and house territories and also removal of household wastes.
