The Cabinet of Ministers issued an instruction to appoint vice premier Volodymyr Groysman acting prime minister, reported the press service of the government.
“In connection with prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s resignation, transfer the responsibility to Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman,” reads the order №658-r of July 24.
As Capital reported, on July 24, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov wrote on his Facebook page about Groysman’s appointment to a post of acting prime minister.
