Ukraine exported 32.4 mn t of grain in 2013/14 Marketing Year thus entering the Top 3 exporters of grain in the world behind the USA (72.3 mn t) and EU (38.5 mn t). According to ZernoUA group of companies, grain export from Ukraine increased by 77%.
As of July 1, in 2013/14 marketing year Ukraine beat such recognized leaders of the industry as Canada (28 mn t), Argentina (21.9 mn t) and Brazil (20.1 mn t).
Nibulon supplied more grain abroad than other companies – over 4.5 mn t, which accounts for 14% from the total grain exports in Ukraine, informed the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation. ADM and Louis Dreyfus Commodities Ukraine multinational companies, which shipped 4.1 mn t and 3.5 mn t respectively, Glencore (2.6 mn t) and Bunge Ukraine (2.5 mn t) are also among the leading exporters.
The State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine is the fifth on the list with 2.9 mn t, controlling 9% of the Ukrainian grain exports.
