Verkhovna Rada refused to dismiss prime minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. Only 16 of 226 required members of the parliament voted for his resignation, as they specified.
As we mentioned, despite that the parliamentary session was closed, the issue on Yatsenyuk’s resignation was considered in open regime.
As a reminder, on July 24 Yatsenyuk tendered his resignation due to the dissolution of a coalition in the Verkhovna Rada and in connection with the refusal of the parliament to support initiatives of the Cabinet on the budget cut 2014 and Naftogaz of Ukraine reform.
