Exchange ratesNBU increased hryvnia exchange rate by UAH 0.13
The National Bank of Ukraine increased hryvnia to dollar exchange rate by UAH 0.13 to UAH 11.96/ US $1.
As compared with euro, hryvnia exchange rate increased by UAH 0.21 to UAH 16.01/ EU 1, rouble — by UAH 0.011 to UAH 0.34/ RUB 1.
As Capital reported, since April 4 the NBU has introduced new rules for hryvnia to foreign currency conversion, according to which official hryvnia to dollar exchange rate will be converted as the weighted average of sellers and buyers, which is registered in the current working day in accordance with the system data of agreement confirmation on the interbank market.
The adjustment of the official exchange rate with regard to the market situation corresponds to one of the key demands of the IMF.
