Mobile communicationMTS Ukraine suspends its operations in Simferopol
On Tuesday MTS Ukraine suspended its operation in Simferopol. In other cities of Crimea, in particular, Yalta, MTS Ukraine is still working.
Crimean subscribers who earlier bought and activated the SIM cards of Russian Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) can see MTS RUS instead of MTS UKR operator symbols on the screens of their mobile phones.
The operation of other Ukrainian mobile communications providers, such as Kyivstar and Astelit (life:)), is continuing in normal mode.
As Capital reported, Russian mobile operator K-Telecom launched a mobile communication network in Crimea on August 4.
