inflationOfficial hryvnia exchange rate hit a new record high
On August 20, the National Bank of Ukraine reduced the official hryvnia exchange rate by UAH 0.27 to the record high UAH 13.22/ US $1, informed the NBU press service.
At that, the official hryvnia rate against euro was registered at the level UAH 17.66/ EU 1, against rouble – UAH 0.36/ RUB 1.
As Capital reported, the interbank exchange market of Ukraine opened today with the dollar increase (sale) by UAH 0.5 to UAH 13.30/ US $1. Currency purchase amounted to UAH 13.10.
