Ukraine has appealed to the International Monetary Fund for revision of the schedule of the funds allocation within the framework of the IMF stand-by arrangement, combining the third and fourth tranches with a possibility to receive them till the end of the year.
“We want to combine the third and fourth tranches. We count on receiving funds in the amount of US $2.2 bn till the end of the year,” finance minister Oleksandr Shlapak told the journalists.
It is expected the one billion dollars of the US $1.4 bn tranche, the approval of which is expected in the end of August, will be directed to the national budget, and US $0.4 bn – to the National Bank of Ukraine, according to the minister.
