Kyiv policemen were granted the right to inspect everyone, who goes with a big bag or knapsack, especially in the subway or other crowded places. This measure should strengthen the fight against the terrorist attacks.
The police also want to increase patrolling in all districts of Kyiv and plan to search not only the personal things of the citizens but also their cars. The law enforcers are asking residents to accept the new law.
“If a patrolman stops you, answer his questions and voluntarily give him to inspect your personal things. Be watchful. In case of detection of suspicious persons or personal things, left in the crowded places, inform the law enforcement bodies.
