DebtsKyivenergo reduced its debt to Naftogaz by UAH 17.6 mn
Kyivenergo has transferred UAH 17.6 mn (US $ 1.29 mn) to Naftogaz of Ukraine as debt repayment for supplies of natural gas, consumed for production of thermal energy. Thus, as of August 26 the company’s debt decreased to UAH 1.75 bn (US $ 130 mn), said Kyivenergo.
It is specified that the company paid over UAH 3.13 bn (US $230 mn) for gas for production of thermal energy to Naftogaz in the beginning of the year, which is UAH 2 bn (US $150 mn) more than the same period in 2013.
At that, in July-August 2014 only, the company transferred to Naftogaz UAH 75.1 mn (US $5.5 mn) for gas used for production of thermal energy for the budget organizations in the capital, while the budget organizations of Kyiv allocated only UAH 1.8 mn (US $130,000) during the same period.
