interbank exchangeHryvnia strengthened on interbank exchange
The hryvnia exchange rate increased by UAH 0.72 to UAH 13.23/ US $1 on the interbank foreign exchange market after decrease by UAH 0.37 on Friday, according to the market players.
Trading on the interbank exchange opened within the range of UAH 13.80-14.20/ US $1, at 11:50 am the rates decreased to UAH 12.75-13.40/ US $1, then continued to decrease to 12.70-13.20/ US $1, but at the end of trading increased to UAH 13.10-13.50/ US $1, according to the information. Most of transactions were closed at the level of around UAH 13.25/ US $1, according to the market players. NBU did not participate in the trading on the interbank exchange.
