National budgetFiscal Service fell short of securing proceeds to the national budget
The State Fiscal Service has collected UAH 198.9 bn (US $15.42 bn) in payments to the general fund of the national budget during January-August 2014, informed head of the service Ihor Bilous at a briefing.
During this period the State Fiscal Service has collected UAH 198.9 bn payments, which is UAH 3.1 bn (US $240 mn) or 1.5% less than in the same period in 2013, according to Bilous.
At that, Bilous noted that due to the tension in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts, the general fund of the national budget fell short of UAH 4.4 bn (US $340 mn) compared with the same period the previous year.
As a reminder, the service informed that there are proceeds to the budget from collection of the military tax in the amount of UAH 287.1 mn (US $22.26 mn) in August.
In addition, the service expects monthly proceeds from military tax to the budget in the amount of over UAH 500 mn (US $38.76 mn) starting from September.
