TransportGeneral Director of Ukrzaliznytsya relieved of his duties
General Director of the State Administration of Railway Transport of Ukraine (UkrZaliznytsya) Borys Ostapyuk was relieved of his duties, informed the Cabinet of Ministers.
Ostapyuk was relieved of his duties for the period of the inspection of the financial and economic activity of Ukrzaliznytsya, which was initiated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, according to the Cabinet.
«We received information from the law enforcement bodies about possible power abuse in financial and economic activity and corruption in the system of Ukrzaliznytsya,» reads the government’s statement.
At that, the Departmental Commission of the Ministry of Infrastructure was created.
