Hot spotLosses from conflict in Ukraine’s east estimated at UAH 11.888 bln
The conflict in Donetsk and Luhansk region so far has cost Ukraine UAH 11.888 billion, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman has said.
«At the moment, we have 11,325 [destroyed] facilities totaling UAH 11.888 billion. But I want to emphasize that this is a preliminary sum, because there are many localities which we cannot access to assess the damage,» he said when speaking to ambassadors and representatives of international financial institutions in Kyiv on Friday.
A total of 4,500 houses, 4,700 power supply facilities, 217 education facilities, 132 industrial sites, 45 health care facilities have been destroyed, the deputy prime minister said.
