Retail turnover in Ukraine amounted to UAH 569.602 bn (US $44.160 bn) over eight months (January-August), which is 4% less than the indicators in the same period 2013, reported the State Statistics Service.
Noteworthy, the information was provided without considering Crimea and Sevastopol annexed by Russia.
The highest level of retail turnover was in Kyiv (UAH 76.27 bn or US $5.91 bn) and Dnipropetrovsk oblast (UAH 49.69 bn or US $3.85 bn), and the lowest – in Chernivtsi oblast (UAH 9.103 bn or US $710,000), said the service.
