Ukraine has compensated the decline of export to the market of Russia by over 50%, said trade representative, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Valeriy Pyatnytskiy.
“The decline on the Russian market was compensated by half thanks to increasing export to the European market and partially to other markets which include the Middle East. The Asian markets also help us compensate,” he explained.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade does not expect higher volume of trade than in crisis 2009, according to the minister.
As Capital reported, earlier Pyatnytskiy informed that the trade turnover between Ukraine and Kazakhstan currently dropped by over 50%.
