Around UAH 34 mn (US $2.63 mn) of military tax were transferred by Donbas citizens to the national budget, reported former Minister of Revenue and Duties of Ukraine Oleksandr Klymenko on his Facebook page.
Thus, the proceeds from Donetsk oblast amounted to UAH 28 mn (US $2.16 mn) which is more than from Odesa, Kharkiv, Lviv, Kyiv and other oblasts. The proceeds from Luhansk oblast amounted to UAH 5.7 mn (US $440,000).
Overall, the military tax in September amounted to over 0.1% from the total proceeds to the national budget against UAH 11.5 bn (US $890 mn) of the main taxes and duties which were not collected by the State Fiscal Service, according to the former minister.
