Government regulationUkraine complicated transit for Russian transporters
Ukraine has imposed additional requirements for Russian transporters traveling through the Ukrainian territory, said the press service of the Association of International Road Transport Carriers of Russia (AsMAP).
From midnight, October 2, when approving the TIR Carnets issued for the Russian transporters during the customs clearance, the Ukrainian customs authorities will be demanding documents, which prove security of customs payments using methods specified in paragraphs 1 and 3 of the Part 1 of the Article No. 306 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, reported the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
These measures are temporary and will be in effect until restrictions on using TIR Carnets, imposed by the Federal Customs Service of Russia, are cancelled, according to the State Fiscal Service.
