The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine expects inflation at 19.5% in 2014, informed Deputy Director of the Department of Macroeconomic Forecasting Maksym Duda.
He specified that in September (compared with December the previous year) the growth of the indicator of the consumer prices amounted to 16.2% and the producer prices increased by 27.4%.
According to the recent statistics, the GDP decreased by 4.6% in Q2 in 2014 compared with the same period in 2013, the industry production decreased by 7.8% over eight months.
Agriculture is the only sector that shows 6% growth, said Duda.
As Capital reported, in September 2014 the consumer prices in Ukraine increased by 2.9%, while in August – by 0.8%.
