Ukraine agreed on trilateral gas talks involving Ukraine, European Commission and Russia, which will be held on October 21, 2014, said Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Prodan at a briefing.
There is also a possibility to meet with the European Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger, according to the minister.
“It is possible that the meeting with Oettinger will be held before the trilateral meeting,” said Prodan.
As a reminder, Gazprom accused Ukraine of wrecking the negotiations on gas.
