Russia is planning to approve the constructive decision on gas agreements with Ukraine, announced Minister of Energy of Russia Alexander Novak in Belgrade.
“We are interested that these agreements be reached. The president said in an interview (for the Serbian newspaper Politika) that we are set for constructive solution,” he informed.
“The agreements are valid until 2019. Every side has a right to appeal to the arbitration court – this is a common thing. There is nothing to comment on, we live and work under the corresponding contract,” emphasized the Russian minister, commenting filing the lawsuit on revision of the transit agreement by Naftogaz of Ukraine.
As a reminder, the next round of the trilateral gas talks involving Ukraine, EU and Russia will be held on October 21.
