The Customs Union has begun the antidumping investigation of import of the Ukrainian wheels for the railcars, announced the Eurasian Economic Commission.
“The steel solid-rolled wheels with the diameter over 710 mm, intended for the manufacture and repair of wheel pairs of the goods trolleys, passenger locomotives, locomotives, wheel pairs of electric trains and diesel trains and special rolling stocks, are the objects of the investigation,” said the commission.
In addition, during the searches the Department of Domestic Market Protection of the Eurasian Economic Commission will consider inclusion of the procurements of the wheels into the list of the goods of the investigation, noted the commission.
According to the EEC, in the period from 2011 to 2013 import supplies of the wheels from Ukraine to the countries of the Customs Union increased by 4.4 times.
At that, the supplies from Ukraine of all import of the wheels to the Customs Union countries averaged 95.8% in 2011-2013, and 97.1% in H1 2014.
