The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM) to Ukraine has sent the first two unmanned aerial vehicles to Donetsk region, Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis has said.
"The first two UAVs have been sent to Donetsk region. They are to perform the first flights in the next few days," he said at a briefing on Tuesday.
He said that talks on the possible use of drones produced in France, Germany, Italy and Russia for the needs of the OSCE mission were continuing as part of the OSCE.
Perebyinis also said that 128 OSCE SMM members had been in Donetsk and Luhansk regions since September 20 and that their number should be increased to 150 by the end of October.
