Naftogaz of Ukraine believes that launching the big reverse from Slovakia is being blocked by the daughter company of Russian Gazprom – Gazprom Export and appeals to Slovakia to dissolve the agreement, which was signed with this company many years ago, as it said on its website.
Naftogaz specified that except Vojany-Uzhgorod route opened in September, Ukraine and Slovakia can transport gas in the amount of 100 bn cu m per year through other four gas pipelines crossing the border between these two countries. In recent years, Ukraine has supplied around 55 bn cu m of Russian gas to EU through these gas pipelines.
