The System Capital Management owned by businessman Rinat Akhmetov has decided to merge the first Ukrainian International Bank, which is one of the largest banks, and Renaissance Capital Ukraine, which is one of the small banks, and which both are controlled by the SCM. The corresponding decision was approved on October 27, according to the press service of FUIB.

“Our banks are ready for the integration, and the work which we carried out will help us make the process of the integration as comfortable as possible for our customers, partners and employees,” said Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the bank Illia Arkhipov.

As a result of reorganization, FUIB will become the assignee of all rights and obligations of the Renaissance Capital bank in relation to its customers, partners and counteragents, the process of the integration will be controlled by the National Bank and Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and will be completed by the end of 2015.

As Capital reported, in December 2013 FUIB became the owner of 100% of the Renaissance Capital bank instead of the SCM.
