The losses of the Ukrainian banks amount to UAH 60 bn (US $4.61 bn) in the zone of the anti-terrorist operation, said Minister of Finance Oleksandr Shlapak at the First Global Investment Conference.
“We completed the stress testing of the banks. According to our estimations, the Ukrainian banks lost UAH 60 bn in these two regions,” he said. As a reminder, the Ministry of Finance also forecasts that Ukraine will lose US $5 bn until the end of the year due to the reduction of turnover with Russia.
