maneuversPoroshenko ready to postpone the local elections in Donbas
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has announced at the session of the National Security and Defense Council his readiness to set another date of initiating a new law and holding the local elections on the certain territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts instead of December 7.
The authorities are ready to clearly denote the territory where the elections will be held and special regime of the local government will operate, according to the president.
“Moreover, we are ready to provide a special regime of the free economic zone, where the business entities which are registered on these territories will have a special regime of economic relations with EU and Russia,” added Poroshenko.
