LawsuitFirtash’ companies appealed against the ban of the Cabinet to use gas from underground gas storage facilities
Concern STIROL, Cherkasy Azot and RIVNEAZOT which are the part of the holding Ostchem appealed to the District Administrative Court to declare illegal and cancel the government’s decree No. 488 of September 29 prohibiting industrial manufacturers of mineral fertilizers from using natural gas from underground gas storage facilities until the end of heating seoson 2014-2015, reported the press service of GROUP DF.
At the meeting on October 29, the District Administrative Court joined all three productions into one and set the next meeting on the case on November 11.
Ostchem owns around 4 bn cu m of gas in underground gas storage facilities imported from Russia in 2013, according to the press service.
