InvestigationUkraine accuses Russian producers of dumping caustic soda
Ukraine has begun an anti-dumping investigation into caustic soda RD, reported the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade.
“On November 3, 2014, according to the law On the Protection of Domestic Producers from Dumped Imports and taking into account the provisions of the Agreement on the Application of Article VI of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade 1994, the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade has considered the complaint on the Violations and Conducting an Anti-dumping Investigation on the Import of Caustic Soda RD Originating from Russia by Ukraine filed by DNIPROAZOT, and the report of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine about the results of conducting anti-dumping procedures of import of caustic soda RD originating from Russia by Ukraine,” according to the document.
As a result of consideration of the complaint, the commission established that there was enough information in it proving that the import of caustic soda RD originating from Russia is supplied at dumping prices to Ukraine.
