investigationUkrspirt charged with over UAH 1 bn in fines
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine has charged over UAH 1 bn (US $70 mn) of penalties during the investigations of Ukrspirt, announced head of the service Ihor Bilous.
“We conduct constant investigations during which hundreds of millions have already been charged in fines. We quarrel with them in the courts and appeals. I know that they have complaints against the State Fiscal Service, there is something they disagree with, but the amounts have already exceeded one billion,” he said.
At that, Bilous believes that the Ukrspirt’s fate was predetermined.
“This is a state-owned company, and I think that the Cabinet has already made a decision on its privatization,” noted the head of the service.
