AppointmentAmbassador at Large to be the ambassador of Ukraine to Austria
Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleksandr Shcherba will be the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria to Ukraine, an information source of the diplomatic sector told Capital.
Noteworthy, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Valeriy Chaliy responsible for foreign policy said that the President’s decree on the new ambassador to Austria will be issued “in the next few days”. Chaliy did not give the new ambassador's name, but noted that “the staff decision is successful enough”.
The information source called Shcherba “a worthy candidate, a professional who is respected by others”.
As a reminder, in the beginning of March acting President Oleksandr Turchynov dismissed Ambassador of Ukraine to Austria Andriy Berezniy.
