forecastNBU forecasts GDP decline by 4.3% in 2015
The National Bank forecasts GDP decline at 4.3% in 2015, announced NBU Governor Valeriya Hontareva at the Fifth Ukrainian Investment Forum Evolution After Revolution.
Hontareva explained the forecast by the military conflict in the east of the country and decrease in the industrial production.
As a reminder, Premier Arseniy Yatsenyuk forcasted GDP decline from 9% to 7% in 2014.
According to the information, the real GDP decreased by 5.1% in July-September compared with the corresponding period in 2013 (fixed prices 2010).
