Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Russia Mikhail Sukhov said that Crimeans should repay the loans taken from the Ukrainian banks.
“To pay or not to pay the loans is the responsibility of each person. But sooner or later they have to pay. As soon as the relations between Ukraine and Russia improve, one of the banks will be a mediator between a borrower and lender and undertake obligations on the debt collection,” he said at a press conference in Sevastopol.
Thirty banks operate on the peninsula, 11 of which have the right to conduct lending operations, however Crimeans are not in hurry to repay the loans, according to Sukhov.
