Wizz Air is concerned about the fact that the adoption of the new rules for the admission of the air companies to the routes can suspend the development and even lead to the closure of Wizz Air Ukraine, announced Director General of Wizz Air Akos Bus.
He noted that the company intends to challenge the document.
“We participated in expert forums, discussions of the State Aviation Administration and Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, wrote letters to the authorities, explaining why this step was not thought over enough. However, we see that our voice was not heard and the conditions of the document became more and more severe,” emphasized Bus.
The document contradicts the norms of the open market, according to Bus.
“The authorities talk about transparent and clear rules of receiving the routes, but the document contradicts them,” noted Bus.
