Ukraine's Deputy Energy Minister Ulyda dismissed for okaying electricity imports from Russia

Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Vadym Ulyda has been dismissed from his post for giving permission for the electricity imports from Russia, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Ostap Semerak said.

"Today, we have responded to the recent decision of the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry's to give its consent to electricity imports from Russia. The corresponding resolution was signed by the now former minister, Vadym Ulyda, he has been fired at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the relevant decision will be published," he told reporters on Wednesday.
