EnergyUkraine plans to export around 2 mn t of coal from ATO zone
Kyiv wants to export from the zone of the anti-terrorist operation around 2 mn tons of coal, which are at the storages of the Ukrainian national company Coal of Ukraine, announced new Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn.
«Coal, that we had, is in the zone from which it is impossible to export. In fact, around 2 mn tons of coal, which can be exported from the zone of the military conflict, are at the storages of Coal of Ukraine. The question is not about the purchase from terrorists, as coal, which is located in the Ukrainian mines, belongs to Ukraine,» he said.
At that, the minister added that as soon as Ukraine can export coal through Debaltseve, it will seize the opportunity.
