EnergyUkrenergo complains of growing shortage of energy in Ukraine
The National Energy Company Ukrenergo said that misbalance between production and consumption of energy in Ukraine increases leading to its shortage.
Thus, on December 3, misbalance of power in the energy system of Ukraine amounted to 3,100 MW, while the previous day the volume of misbalance amounted to 2,800 MW, according to Ukrenergo.
The energy company, therefore, has to resort to emergency power outages throughout the country, which help prevent violations of maximum allowable operation mode of the hydroelectric power stations and water reservoirs of the country, and comply with the agreed schedule of energy flows from the CIS and Baltic countries, according to the company.
