Militants have shelled the positions of the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation forces in the Donbas conflict zone 55 times in the past 24 hours, and three civilians have been killed and three more have been injured, the press center for the anti-terrorist operation has reported.
"Various types of guns, mortars and rocket systems were used. The activity of illegal armed groups was preserved in the Luhansk, Debaltseve, Donetsk and Mariupol directions," the press center reported on its Facebook page.
Militants shelled the following settlements: Stanytsia Luhanska, Sokolnyky, Stary Aidar, Vilkhove, Schastia, Makarove, Nyzhnie, Slavne, Tonenke, Novokalynove, Krasnohorivka, Avdiyivka, Pisky, Hranitne, Debaltseve, Vuhlehirsk, Orlovo-Ivanivka, Komyshuvakha, Nikishyne, Petrivka, Ridkodub, Novolaspa, Bohdanivka, Olhynka, Novotroitske, Trudove, and Krymske.
According to the report, the settlement of Chermalyk near Mariupol was shelled twice.
