Opposition684 people held captive in Donbas
The State Security Service has reported that 684 people remain in captivity and 1,600 Ukrainians are missing in the Donbas, Head of Joint Coordination Center For Hostage Release under the Ministry of Defense Yuriy Tandit said at a briefing.
Tandit expressed his hope for the liberation of the majority of prisoners by the New Year thanks to the ceasefire regime in Donbas initiated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
