The Cabinet of Ministers will introduce additional responsibility for envelope wages and illegal circulation of cash, informed Premier Arseniy Yatsenyuk at a session of the Cabinet.
He said that he was shocked by the official statistics on the level of wages, in particular, in Kyiv.
“The statistics shows that 40% of citizens receive salaries lower than UAH 1,200 (US $70). This is not true,” emphasized the premier.
The Cabinet recognized that this is due to imperfect tax system, he said.
The premier specified that the purpose of the government is the decrease of single social tax from 41% to 15%.
