IntentionCabinet intends to close 32 unprofitable coal mines over five years
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to close 32 unprofitable coal mines over five years, according to the program of the government.
The Cabinet also intends to privatize 37 coal mines and to suspend operation of 27 more mines by 2020, according to the program.
The government has determined purchase of coal on the world market as one of the priorities of its activity.
