President Petro Poroshenko instructed the Security Service to ensure the release of all hostages from captivity of insurgents in Donbas by December 25, announced Head of the investigation department of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Vovk.
“The President set a task to make it happen until December 25, at least until the end of the year. I think we will liberate the majority of people this year,” he said at a briefing. Vovk assured that the Security Service is at the completion phase of solving corresponding problem.
“Today I had a conversation about the approval of lists in Minsk and liberation of our people with Donetsk and Luhansk separatists who are responsible for this issue. We believe that there are 684 people there. Of course, the list may be inaccurate. There are even pregnant women there,” he specified.
