Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko excludes the possibility of default in the country.
“We are not in default or pre-default condition. Today the government does not even discuss this issue. Although everyone admits that the situation is very difficult – Ukraine needs urgent stabilization of the financial system, in particular, of the banking sector,” she said in an interview for Focus.
The increase of the Ukrainian economy will be in 2016, according to the minister.
“I think we will also be able to complete key tasks – to conduct business deregulation, de-monopolization and liberalization of markets, to restore investor trust in the country,” added Jaresko.
As Capital reported, previous Minister of Finance Oleksandr Shlapak also excluded the possibility of default in the country.
