IndustryISD suspends operation of Alchevsk Iron & Steel Works
The management of Donbas Industrial Union (ISD), the owner of Alchevsk Iron & Steel Works, approved a decision to transfer orders from the AISW to the companies outside the ATO zone, reported a source.
Thus, the corresponding plant in Poland is a “reserve” company. Specifically, ISD Huta Czestochowa owned by ISD Corporation is a “reserve” company, according to Informator.
Noteworthy, Alchevsk Iron & Steel Works is in a difficult condition. The company was switched to "hot shutdown" and operated in no-load regime, as the production technology does not allow stopping the operation of the plant not to damage expensive equipment. The AISW also could not carry out supplies of the raw materials and export finished goods.
